I’m a dad with 2 boys, both of whom bring me great joy,  and many other emotions!

Finn (11) enjoys books, computer games and swimming and he will embrace most things new.  Zak (7) is a bit more outdoorsy and likes an adrenaline rush, which puts me through my paces on the really scary slides at water parks.   He also likes the more peaceful things in life like River Cottage garden, cooking etc.   They both like their food – it’s great when ‘Funday Foodday Friday (the day of the week that I cook treats) can be Octopus and Razor shell pasta with Garlic Doughballs and they both tuck in like it was a Macdonald’s.

As for me – I’m an Independent Financial Adviser ( IFA ) and  aim to be the best financial adviser in the world although I’d prefer to be able to predict the future. I’ve been advising customers for over 20 years – with a gap for a couple of years as a Compliance Manager where I was supervising and training a team of around 50 other advisers and became a Member of the Compliance Institute.

I am one of very few advisers approved by Trading Standards for the advice I give.
